About The Position

Our full-time Sonographer will support the needs of our patients and facility by way of performing the necessary ultrasounds. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday rotation required.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED, required.
Graduate of an accredited training program resulting in an ARDMS certification is required.
At least 1 year of ultrasound experience in the field of gynecology/OB or fertility is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.
Utilize techniques that result in optimized images.
Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards.
Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner.
Perform departmental tasks that are necessary to maintaining quality throughout all aspects of job duties performed.
Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.
Other tasks as assigned.
