About The Position

Department: 36320 High Point Medical Center - Ultrasound Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Thursday 9PM-7AM Pay Range $35.50 - $53.25 This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Position Highlights: Sign on Bonus: This job qualifies for a $15,000 sign on bonus (New Hire), $10,000 sign on bonus (New Grad) provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements. Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 in Relocation Assistance (for qualified candidates) Location: High Point, North Carolina

Requirements

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S).
• One of the following registries are required: Abdomen (AB), or Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops a superior varied technique for elevated efficiency in the department.
• Supports and contributes to the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by understanding that every staff member is a Caregiver, whose role is to meet the needs of each patient.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer and/or Engineer.
• Operates the Radiology computer system to include entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assists in keeping the area completely stocked.
• Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while performing in a professional manner always.
