Department: ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (cost center 130)
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties
Average # of studies per day 15-20 per day
(Cath, Echo, & Stress are in same area. If need to do a stress echo they team up with the sonographer & do that)

Requirements

• BLS
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
• VS (Vascular Sonographer)
• RVT (Registered Vascular Tech)
• Must be able to do standard echo & TEEs

Nice To Haves

• ARDMS - AE (adult echo)
• PE (pediatric echo)
• Peds experience
