About The Position

This position is for a Cardiac Sonographer working day shifts in an adult echocardiography lab. The technologist will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies for inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patients. The role involves completing a minimum of 7–8 echocardiography studies per day while maintaining high imaging quality and patient care standards. The sonographer may occasionally support nearby outpatient imaging locations as needed and participate in limited on-call coverage. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular imaging environment.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold an active Adult Echocardiography certification through ARDMS or CCI
• Maintain current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
• EKG rhythm recognition skills are required
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of cardiac sonography experience
• Recent experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system within the past two years is required
• Candidates must also provide complete work history documentation with explanations for employment gaps exceeding 30 days
• Have reliable transportation due to limited public transit access
