Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent - Required
• Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) in (OB/GYN) - Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• 3+ Years Experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic imaging of fetal and maternal anatomy, urinary and gynecologic anatomy or any other diagnostic studies as deemed necessary by the physician for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Assists the Perinatologist, Urogyncologist and/or other physician specialist in patient care and procedures.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Acquires patient’s clinical history and provides accurate documentation for invasive procedures.
• Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.
• Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
