About The Position

The Sonographer - Vascular position involves working as an extension of the client's Physicians to perform vascular lower extremity ultrasound exams aimed at diagnosing and treating chronic venous insufficiency. The role requires technical competency and the ability to manage a busy environment while ensuring patient needs are met and workflow remains efficient.

Requirements

• RVT ARDMS or RVS CCI certification is strongly preferred.
• 2 years of allied health-approved program and/or Associate Degree.
• Current experience with venous insufficiency studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record the results of ultrasound evaluations and post-treatment exams in a safe and professional manner for the patient.
• Assist physician in ultrasound-guided procedures such as Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy and Varithena.
• Communicate preliminary examination results with the physician for their review and diagnosis.
• Document results of ultrasound evaluations and record the preliminary report in EMR.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment by following the highest quality care standards.
