About The Position

We are adding to our staff! We have an immediate opportunity for a part-time benefits eligible (48 hours/pay period) position for an Ultrasound Technician. The ideal candidate will have an ultrasound background that includes OB, abdomen, small parts, breast, and peripheral vascular. This position provides the opportunity to work with an onsite Radiologist performing invasive procedures. The position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and offers the chance to work with an amazing radiology staff. The position will provide day coverage at our Hutchinson and Olivia locations and will participate in a call rotation for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage at our Hutchinson location only. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound and/or Radiologic Technology.
• Satisfactory completion of a clinical rotation in Radiology and/or Ultrasound prior to graduation.
• ARRT and/or ARDMS Certified or ARDMS Registry eligible.
• Registered Vascular Technologist or Registry eligible.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and/or transportation to report to work in Hutchinson and Olivia, MN.

Responsibilities

• Enters all exam charges into the system and/or directs them to Material Services and Pharmacy as appropriate.
• Performs high quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately.
• Works with the Radiologist to learn and follow their preferred imaging protocols, and to provide them with accurate information regarding the patient’s symptoms and physical history.
• Participates in a call rotation to include holidays and weekends in order to provide emergency ultrasound coverage for Hutchinson Health and Olivia Health Care patients 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Call and weekends are Hutchinson site only.
• Possesses the ability to react objectively, using good judgment in crisis situations and on specific issues.
