Scan high risk obstetric patients under the supervision of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians. Prepare examination reports and communicate clinical information and ultrasound findings to the physician. Perform high quality and comprehensive obstetric ultrasound exams in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols. Screen during first trimester for chromosomal and structural anomalies and transvaginal assessment of cervical length. Perform fetal echocardiography. Perform routine and comprehensive anatomy examinations Assist with ultrasound guidance during invasive procedures including genetic amniocentesis, transvaginal and transcervical chorionic villus biopsy, and fetal blood transfusion.
