Requirements

  • One (1) year of a sonographer program.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate precise understanding of how data flows in and out of modality work area.
  • Be attentive to patient satisfaction results and collaborate with management team on ways to improve the department in general and facility overall.
  • Seek ways to improve systems and services.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet and sustain departmental expectations while completing work assignments as it pertains to patient care in an ethical manner.
  • Maintain integrity of equipment with careful manipulation at all times.
  • Demonstrate sustained ability when interacting with patients, to follow the AIDET principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Expectation and Thank You).
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient information is maintained.
  • May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
