About The Position

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking a Sonographer PRN to join our team. This role involves providing care for patients requiring Ultrasound procedures, performing all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing Ultrasound for diagnostic and interventional purposes. The Sonographer will operate equipment, set appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management and patient scheduling, as well as taking on-call assignments to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent education.
• Must have ARDMS Registered in physics and one other registry, or ARRT (S) Sonography.
• ARDMS RVT, or ARRT (VS) Vascular Sonography required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring Ultrasound procedures.
