The Sonographer performs advanced diagnostic and/or therapeutic ultrasound procedures with a high degree of independence and clinical judgment. This role requires specialized technical expertise, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. The Sonographer is responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images by applying ultrasound physics principles, while correlating patient history and clinical data to ensure accurate interpretation.
