What You'll Do: Serves as point for scheduling and flow of the vascular lab Maintains equipment logs, arranges preventative maintenance, serves as point for equipment issues Precepts new hires through orientation. Responsible for maintaining par levels and ordering procedure supplies Assists manager in collection of QI data Verify physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam. Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to SHVI protocols, ensure patient comfort throughout. To include Arterial Dopplers, Aortic and con complex venous studies, Carotid duplex and basic physiological testing. Performs complex vascular ultrasound testing to include: renal and visceral duplex, complex venous testing, post procedural arterial and venous imaging. Recognizes abnormal pathologies, recording in PACS system as necessary to support diagnosis. Provides physician with detailed preliminary report. Enters measurement data into cardiovascular reporting system. Ensures equipment is cleaned in accordance with manufactures guidelines Ensure all continuing educational credit requirements are fulfilled for both accreditation and, registration with credentialing body. Assist surgeon in outpatient venous interventions utilizing sterile techniques. Physical Requirements: Light-to-moderate physical effort, with lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Job duties require sitting, standing, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling. Intact sense of sight and hearing is required.
