About The Position

As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols. Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals. Supports and reports any identified compliance matters. Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction. Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology,, upon hire or Graduate of AMA Accredited Sonography Program,, upon hire or Graduate of accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and equivalent clinical experience., upon hire
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Cardiac Electr, upon hire or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, upon hire or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire or Registered Vascular Specialist, upon hire or Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or Registered Vascular Technologist, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
