About The Position

The Sonographer assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• 2 Year / Associate Degree, required
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required
• Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, preferred
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required
