About The Position

As the Sonographer Cardiac/Echo Technician, you will operate ultrasound equipment that collects reflected echoes and Doppler signals from images and spectral tracings of the heart. You will report to the Unit Manager. PG13 - Start Rate: $31.97/hourly | Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm | Weekly Earned Wage Access is an Option for this Position | Primary Tasks: Perform cardiac sonography imaging, transthoracic 2-D, M-mode, color flow and spectral Doppler, cardiac exercise stress echo and pharmacological stress echo, vascular upper extremity and lower extremity venous duplex, vascular carotid duplex, and non-imaging cardiac Pedoff transducer. Assess the cardiac structures and hemodynamics by using two-dimensional images and Doppler tracings to Perform vascular imaging to detect and assess the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the veins of the body (at the exclusion of the heart). Prepare and present images and offer differential diagnosis to the cardiologist. Assist front office personnel in scheduling procedures and procedures requiring special attention. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

• Associates degree or graduate from accredited program
• Registration by ARDMS/CCI or eligible within 1 year
• Current BLS certification
• Able to perform all Ultrasound task performed in the Specialty clinic
