We are hiring immediately for a full time Sommelier position. Location: Moss Member's Club - 520 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10036 Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule. Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a Sommelier
- Solid foundational wine knowledge and a strong interest in continued learning
- Strong service instincts and comfort working on the floor
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift and move cases of wine as part of cellar responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Providing knowledgeable, gracious, and attentive wine service on the floor
- Assisting members and guests with wine selections and pairings
- Supporting all aspects of dining room service as part of the broader FOH team
- Executing proper wine service standards
- Performing cellar work, including organization, labeling, storage, and inventory upkeep
- Assisting with receiving, stocking, and maintaining the wine cellar
- Supporting wine education and training for the service team as directed
- Working collaboratively with FOH staff and management to deliver a cohesive guest experience
