About The Position

UPS is seeking passionate and ambitious undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior, or senior year for our 12-week 2025 Solutions summer internship program. This internship is designed for students who are eager to learn and grow within a Fortune Global 500 organization. The U.S. Customer Solutions team plays a crucial role in understanding customer processes and business objectives, articulating the value that UPS can provide as a partner. Interns will have the opportunity to leverage UPS's expertise in engineering, technology, finance, and supply chain design/optimization by collaborating with the UPS Sales organization to enhance customers' businesses through value-added solutions. As a Solutions Intern, you will work alongside local members of our U.S. Customer Solutions teams to support mid to large-size projects. This internship program offers an excellent learning environment, providing interns with access to leadership staff and mentors, ensuring a meaningful and supportive experience. Interns will be encouraged to tackle big projects and develop new skills throughout their time with UPS. The role involves reviewing account information to identify opportunities, providing guidance to sales management on positioning and selling solutions, and participating in strategy meetings. You will implement a post-sales process to measure the success of our solutions and work with cross-functional teams, including operations, solutions engineers, healthcare, sales, marketing, and UPS leadership, to dynamically solve customer challenges. Additionally, you will learn how to use a consultative sales approach to evaluate a customer's supply chain and present UPS solutions that support their business goals.
