What you will do: Secure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer’s facility. Secure opportunities on customer requirements by working with Cooper’s departments to develop a comprehensive bill of material. Follow up on all quotations submitted to customers, answer questions/concerns and Help close the order. Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management and other key personnel). Establish customer specific contracts. Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory. Support Sales Engineers in preparing solutions for customers. What you will bring: Knowledge of industrial electrical products and applications. Knowledge of Control and Automation products to include PLC’s, HMI’s and VFD’s. Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms. Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customers. Outgoing personality that works well with others. Ability to speak read and write proficiently in English. Maintains strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills. Motivated, Self-Starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office ©. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Minimum travel, sitting in vehicle to customer’s place of business or job site, when required.. Requires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant and peripheral vision for driving and product selection, and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building. Requires ability to clearly hear in-person and phone conversations. Primarily light industrial and office work areas. Exposure to construction sites, hard hat and safety sensitive areas. Moderate to high noise level.

Requirements
