Evolv Technology is the global leader in AI-based weapons detection, helping to create safer public spaces for millions of people each day. Our Solutions Engineering team works directly with customers to design, test, and implement detection solutions that protect hospitals, schools, stadiums, and iconic venues across the country. As a Solutions Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting Evolv’s initiatives for a significant large-scale rental engagement running from June through mid-July. Throughout your internship, you will assist with event operations, document operational procedures, participate in coordination meetings, and, following the tournament, develop an Evolv Technologies playbook focused on best practices for large-scale rentals. This position provides direct, hands-on experience with our fleet of systems, encompassing data collection and analysis, event support, procedure development and refinement, as well as the creation of a comprehensive playbook for large-scale rental deployments. You will gain valuable insight into supporting major sporting events and contribute to the development of operational resources for future large-scale engagements. Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes Weeks 1–3: Learn & Integrate Engage with the Solutions Engineering team to understand Evolv’s products, workflows, and operational cadence. Complete the Professional Certification Service Course for Evolv Express and eXpedite. Shadow inside Solutions Engineers to perform maintenance on demo fleet units and gain hands-on expertise. Support local stadium events to observe real-world event support. Participate in internal and external sync meetings. Begin leading in-progress after-action reports to lead documentation efforts for early activities of installation, training and initial go-lives. Collect in phase data and numbers and report them daily to the Evolv Event Support Team. Weeks 3–4: Refinement & Development Continue in-progress after-action reporting for all activities. Participate in event support for local stadiums. Begin refining procedures for the Large-Scale Rental Playbook, incorporating lessons learned. Start collecting after-action insights from the large-scale rental event for future improvements. Maintain collaboration with mentors and teams to validate evolving processes. Collect in phase data and numbers and report them daily to the Evolv Event Support Team. Weeks 7-10: Deliver & Present Finalize after-action reports internally and externally for all major activities. Complete and finalize the Large-Scale Rental Playbook, ensuring it reflects best practices and lessons learned. Prepare and present the playbook and key findings to the CX organization and Sports Team at Evolv. Deliver a polished summary of recommendations and improvements for future deployments.
