  • Drive the technical success in Geotab's pursuit of large/strategic opportunities.
  • Showcase and adapt Geotab solutions for prospective customers by identifying and understanding their needs.
  • Position the best solutions and product features to customers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders including Business Development Managers, Account/Engagement Managers, and Product Management.
  • Develop tools and educational content for internal teams and partners.
  • Identify gaps in the product towards the market per segment and provide feedback to product and development teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem.
  • Educate and collaborate with the channel team to optimize utilization of Geotab's technology.
  • Run technical pre-sales activities including discovery, technical demos, and pilots.
  • Assess and analyze prospect business challenges and define Geotab solutions.
  • Contribute to playbooks and knowledge base to drive large/complex prospect opportunities.
  • Identify and implement methods for automation and standardization for demonstrations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the company's offerings.
  • Maintain a smooth transition plan to the channel teams upon acquisition of a prospect.
  • Collaborate with revenue generating teams to identify effective solutions for customer challenges.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting of prospective opportunities and projects are tracked.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant technical field, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration.
  • Business acumen and a desire to drive revenue growth through prospect and pre-sales engagements.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of telematics, IoT, and related technologies.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to understanding client needs.
  • Experience with sales or business development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with Agile Work Management, Ticketing and Customer Relationship Management tools like JIRA and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, as well as data visualization tools like Superset or Power BI.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Desire to stay relevant with emerging technology and flexibility to adapt to growing market demands.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Experience with API integrations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Superset or Power BI.
