About The Position
Our client is seeking a client-facing Solutions Engineer with hands-on software development experience to support solution design, pre-sales activities, and project delivery. The role involves working closely with clients to understand requirements, design practical technical solutions, and support implementation. This position requires real-world development experience and is exclusively open to current or former developers. Technical Scope: Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure. SQL and database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of hands-on software development experience from scratch
- Experience across the full system development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Experience in client-facing or customer-facing roles
- Experience preparing proposals and effort estimates
- Development experience with Python or .NET
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and business challenges
- Propose practical technical solutions
- Support preparation of proposals, demos, and effort estimates
- Lead requirement gathering and business analysis
- Design scalable and implementable system architectures
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work with development teams to ensure successful delivery
- Review technical designs and assess feasibility
- Support UAT and go-live activities
- Apply hands-on development experience to validate solutions
- Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and technical decisions
