Your Role and Impact HYPR is currently seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the quickly growing family. The world’s largest organizations deploy HYPR to eliminate fraud, phishing and credential reuse – all while enhancing customer and employee experiences. The Solutions Engineer has the ability to take part in this mission of removing all passwords and shared secrets from global enterprises as well as verifying individuals are who they say they are. This role requires a multifaceted individual who can ensure successful deployments of Proof-of-Values and ensure the communication of value during the sales process. The role demands that you are objective oriented and able work across complex and shifting environments. A Solutions Engineer should have demonstrated experience in collaborative communication environments with both internal and external teams. The role provides architecture leadership & subject matter expertise to client engagements focusing on Passwordless authentication and Identity verification implementation and adoption.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years in a pre-Solutions Engineering role
  • Thorough communication skills and an understanding of how to sell customer value
  • Experience with authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), Multi Factor Authentication, Identity Providers (Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity, Okta, ForgeRock or others)
  • Experience or comfort in the use and guidance of REST APIs and SDKs
  • Managed complex, enterprise sale cycles as a lead Solutions Engineer
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, OpenAI, Etc.

Nice To Haves

  • As this is a role may include global focus and responsibilities, you may be required to work outside of the normal working hours in your time zone to partner with other IT Services staff globally
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture including load balancing, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
  • Experience or comfort with FIDO UAF and FIDO2
  • Experience with Identity Access Management standards such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.0

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Proof-of-Value (POV) plans intended to sell value to customers, while driving a strong technical understanding of the HYPR Identity Platform
  • The Solutions Engineer creates innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end technical value of a solution, in line with the business strategy and objectives and within the context of HYPR
  • Enable customer success by managing expectations and risks during the POV
  • Help drive product innovation and customization using AI tools and collaboration with engineering teams
