About The Position

Our Platform Services Department lies at the heart of what we do. The Solutions Engineering & Advisory team is the critical bridge between our most complex prospective clients and our innovative product suite. From navigating high-stakes technical demonstrations to funneling real-world feedback into our product roadmap, this team ensures that Bectran’s technology solves the right problems for the right people. You will be working at the intersection of Sales Support, Product Strategy, and Technical Consulting.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related technical/analytical field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or a Product-focused consulting role.
  • Growth Mindset: An understanding that as deal volume and complexity increase, so does your path for professional growth and leadership within the organization.
  • Technical Communication: The ability to translate complex SaaS architecture into clear, value-based business outcomes for executive stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: A passion for "custom work"—digging into a prospect’s unique challenges and building a tailored solution that fits.
  • Relationship Building: A proven track record of building trust with technical and business stakeholders during the pre-sales and implementation phases.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales Partnership: Support the sales process by acting as the primary technical point of contact, leveraging deep product knowledge to overcome technical hurdles and win deals.
  • Solution Design: Analyze the requirements of high-volume and high-complexity prospects to design custom workflows and technical architectures within the Bectran platform.
  • Product Advocacy & Demos: Lead sophisticated product demonstrations for prospects, clearly articulating how Bectran’s features solve their specific business pain points.
  • The Feedback Loop: Act as a conduit between the market and the lab; funnel prospect insights and "field" requirements into the Product team to influence future feedback and development.
  • Relationship Management: Conduct prospect visits and lead professional services engagements to ensure a seamless transition from "initial interest" to "successful customer."
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an internal "Product Explainer," ensuring that both marketing and sales teams have the technical grounding needed to position our solutions effectively.
