The Solutions Engineering team transforms IoT connectivity into scalable, enterprise-wide solutions for retail, distribution, and operations. Our mission: serve as the technical backbone for customer engagement and enablement at scale—delivering tools, documentation, training, and reference software stacks—while leading innovation through benchmarking and reference design for key verticals. In this role, you will lead resource management, performance monitoring, solution lifecycle oversight, and coordinate subject-matter experts to resolve high-impact customer challenges.

  • Develop and deploy innovative RAIN RFID solution architecture to address critical business challenges and drive successful outcomes for enterprise clients based on insights from enterprise sales teams
  • Drive structured discovery with US-based accounts; translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions and architectures
  • Act as the technical trusted advisor during the sales cycle—conduct discovery sessions, lead winning product demonstrations tailored to business-specific problems, and address complex objections to move deals forward
  • Provide end-to-end technical support to ecosystem partners—implementing technical best practices and offering onsite or remote support for deployment, testing, and optimization of RFID/IoT solutions
  • Identify and relay customer requirements, feature requests, and market needs—including competitive insights and deployment blockers—to product management and engineering for continued platform evolution
  • Contribute to the team’s Center of Excellence by building standardized templates, contributing to shared resource libraries, and helping develop best practices that scale across US accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years in RAIN RFID, IoT, or adjacent fields, with hands-on experience in solutions commissioning, field testing, and customer-facing troubleshooting
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to both business and engineering audiences, actively listen to customer needs, and build long-term trust
  • Deep understanding of RF principles: link budget, antenna performance, interference control, and optimization; skilled with relevant test equipment and validation workflows
  • Experience with data pipelines and API/SDK integration; ability to standardize telemetry collection, monitoring, and KPI tracking as part of production IoT environments
  • Proficient in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript, with demonstrated ability to develop sample code, tools, and data analysis resources for diagnostics and partner enablement
  • Adept at leading customer discovery, presenting solution architectures, documenting technical steps, and aligning cross-functional teams to clear acceptance criteria
  • Collaborative spirit—work effectively across sales, marketing, engineering, and partner teams to drive results and continuously improve solution delivery
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% nationwide for onsite discovery, pilots, and production support
  • The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $126,100 - $189,200
  • Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills
