About The Position

As a member of the hosting services team your primary focus will be providing technical assistance with application installations, upgrades, configurations, and data migrations for implementation projects and development, testing and support environments. With a broad range of technical skills, you will also provide technical application assistance to internal and external customers. You could also develop custom reports, interfaces or utilities for a C# .NET framework web-based application based on skills, interest and demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (IIS & Active Directory management and PowerShell skills especially valuable).
• In depth experience using SQL with Oracle and/or SQL Server to query complex data including familiarity with views, synonyms, triggers, stored procedures, database links, etc.
• Basic database administration knowledge and experience would be especially valuable.
• Experience working with cloud environments and configuration automation, particularly with AWS.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure.
• Familiarity with Powershell, Bash, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Performs or provides assistance with installations and upgrades of Infotech® products and services.
• Maintain AWS environments to ensure cost efficiency, availability, reliability, and performance for the best possible customer experience.
• Respond to alerts and resolve issues in a timely manner, while maintaining an exceptional level of service.
• Perform after-hours system maintenance and on-call troubleshooting when needed.
• Ensure a high level of security across all services and accounts.
• Provide technical assistance with application installations and upgrades, application configurations, and data migration efforts.
• Provide technical assistance to other Infotech Departments: Development, Support, QA, etc.
• Create technical documentation for internal and external audiences.
