The Solutions Engineer for Public Websites at Edward Jones will play a crucial role in enhancing the Digital Client Experience by providing technical leadership and support across various product teams. This position focuses on collaborating with product leaders and technical architects to design and improve applications and tools that facilitate client engagement and marketing efforts. The role involves working with both proprietary and vendor applications, ensuring the success of marketing and brand management initiatives through innovative technology solutions.

  • Participate in Agile Product In-Take ceremonies and provide key Technical Assessments and Discovery for new and incoming feature work across all DCX PWIE systems.
  • Organize and drive a Tech Lead Forum for the DCX PWIE Tech Leads and Solutions Engineers to have a regular cadence of meeting, brainstorming, discovery, and discussion around the technologies in DCX PWIE.
  • Provide as needed development and coding of complex and highly visible technical issues that have potentially escalated or need deep expertise.
  • Provide mentoring and solutions review for software engineers across the DCX PWIE teams, associates, and contractors. On Shore and Off Shore.
  • Be a decision maker in technical solutions for design, development, and implementation of various applications and platforms across the DCX PWIE space.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture Technical Architects that manage Enterprise Arch processes for DCX PWIE in solutioning and seeking approval of new technology or new applications.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a variety of technical fields, including software and infrastructure engineering.
  • A deep understanding of operating critical & enterprise hardened production systems, and of observability to reduce toil and improve MTTR during incidents.
  • Fluent in multiple programming languages and development stacks. Knowledgeable of multiple systems to design more resilient and maintainable solutions. Strong expertise in Java or JavaScript, Python, Kafka.
  • Expert in test automation with demonstrated mastery of code level unit and integration tests.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
  • SAAS solutions for public website platforms, specifically having Drupal platform/development knowledge.
