About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer - Commercial (Existing Business) in the United States. This role partners closely with Account Executives to drive revenue growth by providing expert technical guidance and solution architecture for commercial clients. You will lead technical discovery, design secure network and cloud architectures, and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will influence multi-stakeholder deals, align technical and business objectives, and provide structured feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategy. The role blends deep networking and security knowledge with strong sales acumen in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will also create scalable enablement resources and solution blueprints that benefit both the team and clients. Success in this role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect role within networking or security software
  • Proven experience co-owning pipeline and contributing to quota attainment with Sales teams
  • Strong knowledge of zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, and identity/access management (SSO, SAML, OIDC)
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
  • Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls) with strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical features into clear business value
  • Experience thriving in high-growth or startup environments, with the ability to adapt quickly and work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close commercial customer opportunities
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution architecture design, demos, and proof-of-concepts to accelerate deal progression
  • Guide complex, multi-stakeholder deals, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
  • Provide structured feedback to influence product roadmap, feature development, and go-to-market strategy
  • Develop scalable enablement materials, demo environments, and solution blueprints for the broader Solutions Engineering team
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, building long-term client relationships and credibility
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and optimize technical delivery
