About The Position

The Junior Color Management Support Specialist (internally known as: Solutions Development Technician) supports projects within the Solutions Development team of the Business Innovation Division. The team’s goal is to develop and manage strategic business technologies relating to our color management suite of products and customer portal. Focus will be placed on managing documentation and technical information in our unique customer portal web platform. As part of the team, you will work with a variety of departments, customers, and international colleagues while providing support for Fujifilm’s industry leading color management suite, ColorPath SYNC. The role will relate to pre-press, offset press, digital and wide format areas of the graphic arts industry. This position is unique in that it offers a creative outlet in a technical role. You will be part of a small team with diverse backgrounds which is responsible for the user experience and continual improvement of multiple platforms. This is an opportunity to directly address the pain points currently experienced by print customers.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Graphic Arts or related study
  • Comfortable with phone calls, presentations, and public speaking
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills (product management, support, sales, service, and management)
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work with a high level of integrity and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe graphic arts applications
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel ~30%

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with color management tools such as ColorPath SYNC
  • Relevant experience in digital print, content management, color management
  • Previous experience with backend web platforms
  • Previous experience with Asana or other project management software
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or other CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Fujifilm’s customer portal content
  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Fujifilm’s color management suite, ColorPath SYNC, collaborating with team members
  • Provide phone and remote support for end users of Fujifilm’s ColorPath SYNC Solutions and for Fujifilm field technicians
  • Coordinate activation of ColorPath licenses for installation with customers and service team
  • Review and perform pre-installation assessments relating to ColorPath SYNC Solutions sales
  • Collect and report software issues (bugs) and enhancement/feature requests
  • Perform testing of new product features as they are developed
  • Attend training classes to stay current on both new and existing products
  • Utilize project management software to keep projects on track
  • Collaborate on technical documentation relating to new developments and SOPs as needed
  • Support training classes for ColorPath and related products
  • Acquire and maintain G7 Expert status and attend ColorPath SYNC installations to identify potential areas for improvement
  • Provide software demonstrations via web conference or in-office to interested customers
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to hone skills and foster relationships
  • Assist with ColorPath SYNC customer data in Salesforce which contains practical license information and share that info to key Fujifilm parties
  • Other duties as assigned
