About The Position

The STACK Solutions Delivery Manager oversees the data hall fit out, office and storage space builds meeting the clients’ specific scope and needs. They are clients facing and have strong construction project management skills, driving process efficiency and strong client relationships. They can form strong internal partnerships and contract with external construction and consulting project teams that deliver the client’s data hall fit-out project (s). Client requirements range in scale from a cage environment to significant modifications or new data hall fit out work of 72 megawatts or beyond. As a client-facing Solutions Delivery Manager at STACK, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of data hall fit-out construction projects while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and client management. You will be a key contact for our clients and will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors, consultants and contractors, to deliver high-quality data center facilities. Must have a positive and can-do attitude while being a team player.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading Data Center Fit Out Projects
  • Have solid foundations in technology along with a proven track record in successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with both Hyperscale and Enterprise clients
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and follow clear directions and meet specific deadlines with reporting, communication, and project schedules
  • Desire to be a team player across the organization
  • Professional-level proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (also Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, MS Project)
  • Experience with the tools of the trade (AIA Contracts, Construction Schedules, Budgets & Schedules of Values, Payment Applications, Lien Releases, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Vendor Agreements, Construction Insurance types, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of Data Hall Fit-Out projects scope and delivery process, how the work is sequenced and distributed between trades.
  • Data Center technical knowledge, including OFCI/CFCI equipment, procurement strategies & lead times, Owner-direct vendors, etc.
  • Pro-active self-starter, able to take ownership of issues and drive them to a successful and timely conclusion
  • Ability to read, interpret and convey construction drawings
  • Reliability, strong organizational skills and follow-through are essential
  • Attention to detail, precision and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for STACK clients throughout data-hall fit-out projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
  • Consistently aim to exceed client expectations in all phases of project delivery.
  • Manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct daily site and team observations to monitor progress and performance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to STACK safety regulations by all project delivery teams.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to align goals and uphold quality standards.
  • Oversee quality control processes across all stages of the data hall fit out.
  • Guarantee compliance with client specifications and industry standards in all construction work.
  • Manage project scope and schedule changes, ensuring client communication and approval.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implemented mitigation strategies.
  • Take ownership of issue resolution, driving timely and favorable outcomes.
  • Support contract administration, including review and negotiation of change orders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Construction, Sales Engineering, EH&S, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Lead weekly client and vendor meetings, setting agendas, capturing notes, and managing discussions.
  • Deliver regular project updates to clients, senior management, and key stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support successful project execution.
