About The Position

The Solutions Coordinator supports the Industrial and Warehouse Solutions departments by opening and managing service and sales work orders, developing accurate repair and project quotes, and ensuring clean billing and warranty recovery. This role partners closely with Dock Solution and Warehouse Solution teams, parts, and operations to translate service and sales needs into well-documented, billable work while maintaining high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience with dock and door, forklift or heavy equipment service operations, quoting, or job costing preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e-Emphasis preferred).
  • Understanding of service labor, parts pricing, and repair workflows.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related office tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dock and door, forklift or heavy equipment service operations, quoting, or job costing preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e-Emphasis preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Open, maintain, and update service work orders and sales orders in the ERP system based on technician findings and the direction of Dock Solutions Managers (DSMs) and Warehouse Solutions Consultants (WSCs).
  • Develop accurate, detailed quotes for equipment, repairs, parts, labor, travel, and related service costs.
  • Provide completed quotes to DSM and WSC teams to support customer communication and sales execution.
  • Cost service jobs and projects accurately to ensure proper billing, margin integrity, and financial reporting.
  • Convert approved quotes into billable work orders and ensure readiness for invoicing.
  • Manage work-in-process (WIP) to support timely job closure and billing cycles.
  • Submit, track, and support warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation and ERP entry.
  • Partner with Parts and Service teams to validate parts availability, pricing, and alignment with quoted scope.
  • Support portal billing and documentation requirements as needed for customer accounts.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for audits, warranty reviews, and internal reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve quoting accuracy, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with additional administrative needs, special projects, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
