About The Position

The Solutions Consulting Engineer II position at Henry Schein Inc. is a pivotal role that focuses on providing technical and functional solution discovery and demonstrations to both prospective and existing customers. This role is essential for supporting new sales, retention, and expansion opportunities within the dental software sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering presentations and product demonstrations for Henry Schein One (HS1) solutions, which include advanced product concepts and third-party complementary products. The position requires a deep understanding of the Dentrix Ascend solution and the ability to articulate its strengths relative to competitors. In this role, the Solutions Consulting Engineer will partner closely with HS1 product leaders to deliver meaningful customer feedback, influencing current and planned features that address customer pain points. The position involves performing technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects, and requires collaboration with senior staff to stay updated on business-critical dental solutions and HS1 products. The candidate will also provide consultative technical and sales support for various solutions, including Dental Practice Management Solutions, Tech Central Solutions, Dental Analytics Solutions, RCM Solutions, and Patient Experience Solutions. The role includes participating in sales planning and business development activities, developing and demonstrating solutions for customers, and translating product features into customer insights and value drivers. The Solutions Consulting Engineer will work with Account Management, Customer Success, and Service teams to understand customer requirements and needs, contributing to the overall strategy for building a solution roadmap and mitigating risks while creating opportunities for expansion. Additionally, the position requires interaction with Product Management to refine HS1 products and technical features, ensuring an improved user experience and overall product adoption. The candidate will assist in tracking planned product roadmap items, participate in industry functions to stay current with trends, and develop training materials to enhance product knowledge among sales teams. This role is integral to the successful implementation of HS1 purchased solutions and requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
