The Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in collaborating with prospects and clients to address pain points within their current operational framework. Their primary goal is to secure new business by showcasing how the Clearwater solution effectively resolves issues and enhances the overall value of their operations. As an integral member of the sales team, the Solutions Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on the Clearwater Solution, harnessing their profound expertise in finance, accounting, and/or technology to support clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the client's needs and the ability to articulate how Clearwater's offerings can meet those needs effectively. In this role, the Solutions Consultant will work closely with prospective clients to understand their current systems, processes, business requirements, and subsequent challenges. They will document solution requirements and client processes to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Solutions Consultant will assist in the development of compelling proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring that Clearwater's solutions are presented in the best possible light. They will also provide relevant product and market feedback to Clearwater's product management, development, global delivery, and client services teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of Clearwater's offerings. The Solutions Consultant will be expected to assist with critical research and preparation for sales visits, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped to engage with potential clients. This role is essential for driving new business and meeting team sales quotas, making it a key position within the sales organization.
