The Solutions Consultant role represents an evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering position, focusing on how we can best serve our customers by understanding their environments, providing solution guidance, and ensuring they realize the value of their investments with Palo Alto Networks. As a Solutions Consultant, you will provide technical leadership and expertise throughout your customers' security transformation journeys. You will play a crucial role in defining technical solutions that secure key business imperatives for customers and ensure they gain maximum value from their investments with us. You will also promote our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services, establishing Palo Alto Networks as the cybersecurity partner of choice for your customers. Curiosity is at the core of the Solutions Consultant role, and you will see complex problems as opportunities to learn and deliver innovative solutions. Your impact will be defined by your ability to meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions. You will position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio based on customer business needs. Conducting discovery to understand and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of your prospects and customers will be essential. You will work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence through effective presentations, customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops will be critical to your success. You will lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure technical wins in assigned opportunities, orchestrating supporting resources to demonstrate a cohesive strategy. Additionally, you will promote end-to-end solutions that include Palo Alto Networks and/or partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner, while continuously investing in your own technical and professional development.
