About The Position
The Solutions Consultant II is a pivotal role within the College, responsible for managing and delivering higher education solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position requires a deep understanding of client needs, the ability to develop and communicate effective strategies, and the skill to select appropriate solutions while mapping department processes. The Solutions Consultant II will work closely with various departments to ensure that their requirements are met through tailored solutions. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Solutions, this role is integral to the success of the College's initiatives in higher education solutions. In this role, the Solutions Consultant II will consult and maintain relationships with a portfolio of departments, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs. The consultant will review use cases, derive requirements, and identify project options to execute the strategy effectively. Managing and overseeing selected projects is a key responsibility, which includes reviewing and managing vendors and selecting the best solutions for the College's needs. The consultant will also be tasked with mapping department processes, planning and coordinating user training, and organizing stakeholder meetings to facilitate communication and collaboration. The Solutions Consultant II will determine necessary configurations and integrations, manage efforts within fiscal and other resource constraints, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery. Regular updates and reports will be provided to stakeholders to keep them informed of project status. Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices is essential for this role, as it allows the consultant to provide informed recommendations and support to the College's departments. Additionally, the consultant may assist with other related tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the College's initiatives in higher education solutions.
