Become a Krakenite and build the future of crypto! Proof of work The team Payward Services is Kraken's B2B infrastructure division. We sell crypto trading, fiat rails, yield, tokenized equities, and compliance to fintechs, neobanks, and institutions — so they can offer crypto without building it themselves. Bunq and Klarna are already live on our stack. We're scaling the team to match. This is a 0-to-1 role. You'll be the first dedicated Solutions Architect and the founding hire for our Solutions Engineering function. You'll own the full technical customer lifecycle — from pre-sales discovery and solution design through integration delivery and go-live — and you'll shape how we build this practice as the team grows. You'll partner directly with our Engineering Director, GM, Product Manager, and Implementation Manager. This is not an execution-only seat. We expect you to define the process, set the bar, and eventually hire and lead a team. The opportunity Run technical discovery with prospective customers — map their architecture, constraints, and compliance needs to our product suite (Embed, Ramp, Earn, xStocks, CF Benchmarks) Design tailored solutions, scope PoCs, and win the technical sale alongside our sales team Own the implementation relationship from kick-off through go-live — API integration support, architecture reviews, and escalation management Build the Solutions Engineering playbook from scratch — pre-sales process, handoff templates, onboarding runbooks Identify product gaps blocking deals and feed them into the roadmap with business context Spot expansion opportunities post-launch and drive customers from one product to many
