About The Position

We are looking for a Financial Services domain expert who can partner closely with Sales to elevate customer confidence, shape technical solutions, and guide early delivery for complex engagements. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales, solution architecture, and delivery oversight, with a strong emphasis on FinServ / FinTech expertise and compliance knowledge. You’ll be the person who helps a prospect think, “They get our world and they can deliver.”

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Financial Services and/or FinTech (banking, payments, lending, insurance, wealth management, etc.)
  • Ability to confidently “speak the lingo” with senior customer stakeholders
  • Strong background or working knowledge of financial services compliance (regulatory, security, risk, governance)
  • Ability to earn trust quickly with both customers and sales teams
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation, thought leadership, and solution narratives
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and architect

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud, platform, or systems experience relevant to modern FinServ environments
  • Azure, AWS, or GCP experience and/or certifications
  • Background as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Program Leader in a FinServ environment

Responsibilities

  • Join customer sales calls as a trusted FinServ expert, speaking confidently to industry challenges, regulatory considerations, and technical tradeoffs
  • Partner with Sales to build credibility early by demonstrating deep understanding of financial services and fintech environments
  • Help qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and support estimates and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Lead solution shaping and technical roadmapping during pre-sales and early engagement phases
  • Translate customer business needs into scalable, compliant technical approaches
  • Advise on architecture decisions with awareness of regulatory, security, and compliance constraints common in FinServ
  • Provide light delivery oversight on new engagements to ensure solutions align with what was sold
  • Support early phases of delivery to de-risk projects and ensure strong handoffs to delivery teams
  • Occasionally bill limited time during early customer engagement phases
  • Author or contribute to thought leadership, case studies, and FinServ-focused content
  • Help document patterns, best practices, and success stories from existing accounts
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource internally for FinServ and compliance-related topics
