As a Solutions Architect, You will serve as a trusted solutions advisor for our ALEX Home full suite of services acting as the Revenue and Renewal team's primary product expert. You will master our products, demo environment, system architecture, security and implementation requirements, customer needs, and the sales process. You will ensure consistent, high-quality solution support that accelerates deals and builds trust with buyers, brokers, and partners. You will also collaborate with Marketing and Product to represent the voice of the market, informing the development of our integrated benefits suite.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience as Solutions Architect in the Benefits Administration/Technology industry.
  • Experience in architecting and demoing complex enterprise solutions to C-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the broker and carrier ecosystem to assist in strategy development.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb product and system details, design solutions, and translate them for customers in a sales environment.
  • Ability to generate customer-facing collateral for addressing product and system concerns in a customer-friendly way that supports the sales message.
  • History of collaborating closely across the organization, including sales, marketing, legal, security, and technology teams.
  • Have worked in a high growth environment with new product launches.
  • Strong communication skills: Able to present complex solution concepts and ideas to internal and external stakeholders in a way that’s honest, compelling, and empathetic.
  • 25% travel is expected

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution & Solution Design Serve as a trusted solutions advisor for ALEX opportunities, leading complex or strategic sales cycles and demos
  • Provide deal strategy and model best-in-class discovery, product demonstrations, and solution design for direct prospects, brokers, and clients.
  • Assist in architecting the deal to the buyer's needs
  • Act as one of the Revenue and Renewal team's product experts, mastering our products, system architecture, security requirements, customer needs, and the sales process, including plan analysis, when needed.
  • Respond to solution information requests, design tailored product solutions, and provide in-depth product demonstrations.
  • Support plan design analysis to insure product fit.
  • Develop a working knowledge of our products’ integration capabilities, including APIs, file sharing, and Single Sign-On (SSO), and help customers understand their architecture and benefits.
  • History of collaborating close across the organization, including sales, marketing, legal, security, and technology teams
  • Be quick on your feet, helping the sales team field questions and objections during the sales process, and helping customers understand how our architecture excels compared to the competition.
  • Assist with RFP content when deep product expertise is necessary.
  • Support revenue targets related to solution requirements.
  • Training and Enablement Collaboration Collaborate with Sales Enablement to support creation of advanced solution sales collateral and develop/roll out solution talk tracks for the sales team on the Benefits Administration and ALEX platforms.
  • Market Insight Expertise Collaborate with Marketing and Product to represent the voice of the market, informing the development of our integrated benefits suite.
  • Provide input to the sales strategy and solution planning for future products and initiatives, working with the Manager, Solutions Architect
  • Leverage your deep understanding of our customers’ system and security landscapes to identify which customers are prime fits for pilots and new products and inform our product roadmap.
