About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide SETA support to the Landmark AOS program in Chantilly, VA. This role involves working closely with technical and management personnel to conduct software architecture analysis, design, integration, and documentation, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with eighteen (18) years or more experience; Master's degree with sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD with fifteen (15) years or more experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
  • Experience accessing and evaluating complex software-intensive systems and making recommendations to management about incorporating systems into the enterprise architecture.
  • Familiarity with IC and/or DoD space and ground architectures and systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) models and artifacts.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in software development or related technical domains.
  • Prior NRO Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct enterprise and system-level software architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and documentation.
  • Facilitate development and assessment of systems architecture models and products, including acquisition and management documentation and guidance.
  • Guide stakeholders in preparing, authoring, and implementing management plans and white papers related to architecture and systems engineering.
  • Coordinate mission engineering activities across multiple space system offices.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to architectural product deliverables and development contractor proposed solutions.
  • Develop briefings and documentation material for client engagements and products.
  • Assist the client in performing day-to-day technical and non-technical program execution activities.
  • Communicate strategies, plans, summaries, successes, concerns, issues, and lessons learned with leadership.
