About The Position

As a Solution Architect at Crunchbase, this role will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth by helping customers understand and integrate Crunchbase's data and API solutions into their systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to partner with customers to integrate Crunchbase's Predictions & Insights into their models. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will lead the integration of Crunchbase data into cloud platforms and marketplaces. It will be the responsibility of the Solutions Architect to facilitate alignment with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure Crunchbase's offerings align with customer needs while proactively unblocking technical challenges and driving the successful implementation of Crunchbase products.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in APIs, data platforms, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Proficiency in data engineering, analytics pipelines, and AI/ML-derived data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to develop proofs-of-concept (POCs) and custom integrations to demonstrate Crunchbase's value.
• Strong consultative skills with the ability to translate complex data methodologies into actionable solutions for customers.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring maximum ROI for customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and find solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to evaluate and integrate Crunchbase's data and API solutions into their business processes.
• Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Act as a strategic advisor to customers to integrate Crunchbase's Predictions & Insights into their own AI/ML models and decision-making workflows while guiding on best practices to leverage data.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless adoption of Crunchbase's solutions.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including implementation, integration, and optimization of Crunchbase solutions.
• Assess customer needs and prepare detailed technical specifications for data integration and architecture.
• Develop proofs-of-concept (POCs) to validate and optimize Crunchbase's data capabilities for customers.
• Lead the integration of Crunchbase data into major cloud platforms and marketplaces like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and others, ensuring seamless accessibility and scalability.
• Support sales teams by developing solution architectures that clearly demonstrate Crunchbase's value.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and best practices for customers and partners.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Provide post-implementation support, ensuring customers optimize their use of Crunchbase's data over time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
