Peraton is hiring a Solutions Architect Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Solutions Architect Systems Engineer on our team you will. support the synthesis of requirements and implementation details for migrating a legacy application used to process dissemination requests for the organization. You will use your knowledge of Cloud Migration to help the engineering management of this transition, as well as provide engineering support to other applications under the purview of the supported organization. Task Activities: Support mission operations and capability development systems teams including Program Managers, Technical Leads, Mission Leads, and Systems Engineers with transitioning activities for legacy mission systems to replacement or newer technology systems and decommissioning systems which no longer provide needed functionality, or which cannot continue to be sustained. Collaborate across organizations, providing integration support to assist with T&D activities identified and specified by the Government Lead. Coordinate with customer Transition and Decommission (T&D) efforts to keep leaders informed of Enterprise methods, policies, and procedures for T&D activities. Assist with identifying the correct stakeholders for customer projects, reporting to the Government Lead on a regular basis such as at the regularly scheduled T&D sync meetings. Encourage the project T&D teams across regarding engagement with Enterprise-and organization-specific T&D processes. #AJCM
