About The Position

e360 is a 30+ year privately-owned company with a focus on our people, our clients and leading technologies. Our team is comprised of leaders that focus on delivering innovative consulting solutions that leverage leading and emerging technologies. We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial consulting company that offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth suited to each individual’s personal and professional goals. We offer internal, and subsidize external, trainings, and reimburse the cost of technology certification exams and / or renewals. Our family-founded business sees work life fit as a core value that all of our practitioners practice – the value you add to your team is more important than the time that you ‘clock in and out.’ You will have numerous opportunities to interface with senior leadership, and benefit from mentorship internally or through introductions through external networks to support your growth. The Principal Advisor – Composable Enterprise is a senior, client-facing advisory leader responsible for shaping enterprise infrastructure strategy and guiding organizations through the design, evolution, and operationalization of composable enterprise architectures. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, and advanced infrastructure technologies, serving as a trusted advisor to executive, architectural, and engineering stakeholders. Rather than focusing primarily on pre-sales execution, the Principal Advisor provides strategic technical leadership, influences architectural direction, and ensures that composable enterprise solutions align with long-term business objectives, operating models, and transformation initiatives. This role is designed for a highly experienced technologist with a background in advisory consulting, enterprise architecture, or senior pre-sales leadership within a VAR, Systems Integrator, or major OEM. You must demonstrate the capability to engage at the boardroom and architect level with equal credibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure architecture, advisory consulting, or equivalent senior technical leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in trusted advisor or principal architect capacity with enterprise customers.
  • Prior experience within a VAR, SI, or OEM, with exposure to complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to influence architectural decisions at both technical and executive levels.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills.
  • Ability to guide customers through ambiguity and complex decision-making.
  • Strong whiteboarding, facilitation, and architectural storytelling capabilities.
  • Comfort challenging assumptions and providing objective, experience-based guidance.
  • Expertise designing resilient, scalable, and composable enterprise architectures.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure integration points and operational dependencies.
  • Ability to balance innovation with operational stability and risk management.
  • Capable of mapping business outcomes to architectural principles and design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of cost modeling, TCO/ROI, and financial implications of architectural decisions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement models, vendor ecosystems, and partner programs.
  • Ability to influence multi-stakeholder environments and align competing priorities.

  • Shape and validate composable infrastructure and platform strategies that emphasize modularity, scalability, and operational agility.
  • Develop and socialize reference architectures, design patterns, and architectural principles that can be reused across customers and verticals.
  • Guide customers in evaluating architectural tradeoffs, technology selection, and vendor positioning within a composable ecosystem.
  • Ensure architectural consistency across domains (compute, storage, network, security, and cloud) while enabling flexibility and innovation.
  • Engage regularly with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and senior architects as a strategic advisor and technical authority.

  • Serve as a thought leader for composable enterprise concepts, contributing to internal and external messaging, whitepapers, and solution narratives.
  • Elevate customer conversations from “solution design” to platform strategy and operating model evolution.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, account executives, and delivery teams to ensure advisory insights inform pursuit strategy and solution positioning.
