About The Position

While this is a remote role, we have a strong preference for candidates located in NY, CA, FL, or ID to align with our regional hubs and operational footprint. As a Solutions Architect (Live Production), your role is to provide prospects and customers with the creative ideas and technical expertise to deploy the Grabyo platform in live production environments. Further to the consultative approach taken with would-be and existing clients, you will serve as a critical bridge between the commercial teams and the product and engineering teams at Grabyo. You are the technical authority in the room, architecting cloud production and live video workflows for the world’s leading media brands. Acting as a field engineer and production consultant, you deeply understand the nuances of broadcast galleries, remote solutions, signal flow, and cloud infrastructure. You will become an expert on the Grabyo platform, capable of troubleshooting complex live ingest scenarios and demonstrating how cloud-native production delivers superior results compared to traditional hardware setups. With professional experience in broadcast galleries or live production suites, you possess a unique combination of editorial and technical mindsets. This allows you to advise customers not just on how the technology works, but on how to build engaging, professional-grade live shows. Working closely with the Sales and Customer Success teams, you will provide in-depth demos for technical and production representatives at any prospect or customer. You will stay at the forefront of the industry, keeping informed about cloud production trends and the competitive landscape to ensure Grabyo remains the partner of choice for live content creators.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in live production environments, such as a Broadcast Engineer, Production Manager, Gallery Director, or Audio Engineer.
• Proven ability to marry technical expertise with editorial vision; you understand why a show needs to look a certain way and exactly how to deliver it technically.
• Strong knowledge of video transport protocols (SRT, RTMP, HLS), broadcast integration, and cloud-native workflows (AWS preferred, but not essential).
• A proactive self-starter with a sales-focused approach, capable of acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and production leaders.
• Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.
• Superior presentation skills; able to translate complex cloud architecture into compelling business and creative value.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or media production field, or equivalent professional experience at the cutting edge of broadcast technology.
• Professional fluency in English is required

Nice To Haves

• Spanish or Portuguese fluency is highly desirable for regional support.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic creative partner, advising clients on production layouts, screen aesthetics, and content themes that drive audience results.
• Use an editorial mindset to demonstrate how Grabyo’s platform can be used to execute high-quality live productions that rival traditional broadcast.
• Proactively suggest content ideas and engagement strategies that help customers maximize the value of their live programming.
• Design and present scalable, production-grade architectures that integrate with customer ecosystems, including cloud environments, direct feeds (SRT/Haivision), and social platforms.
• Lead high-impact product demonstrations that focus on the user experience in the gallery, from vision switching to real-time audio mixing.
• Serve as a technical authority on signal routing and live feed management to ensure zero-failure delivery for high-stakes events.
• Partner with the Americas sales team as a technical expert to build prospect confidence and close high-value deals.
• Lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring the proposed solutions meet both technical requirements and production best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize features that solve real-world production challenges and improve the operator experience.
• Identify relevant new client projects and growth opportunities for Grabyo by analyzing technical trends in the region.
• Support the Americas commercial team on product demonstrations, new customer onboarding, and technical training.
• Act as a main contact and technical escalation point for our customers, assisting in maintaining a good working relationship with the Grabyo support team.
• Research competitors’ products and technical platforms in order to clearly articulate Grabyo’s advantages and challenges.
• Support global regions (up to 20% support for APAC) to ensure technical consistency across the Grabyo ecosystem.
