About The Position

The Solutions Architect, Director will partner with the DMS CTO to design and deliver a modern, flexible AdTech and data architecture that connects LOCALiQ's CRM/business systems with its proprietary campaign platform and external publishers (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Yelp, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.). This is a new role with high growth opportunities to build out a team and execute the vision. Initially, this is a hands-on role to quickly gain domain knowledge. The role balances big-picture architecture with hands-on implementation, guiding the transformation of people, processes, and legacy systems into a unified, scalable operating model. The mission is to lead the modernization of LOCALiQ's advertising technology stack, standardizing data, workflows, and tools, so that teams can plan, launch, optimize, and measure omni-channel campaigns with speed and reliability while continuously improving cost-per-lead and cost-per-acquisition outcomes. This includes defining the target architecture, coaching teams through change, and owning the delivery of critical integrations and workflow automations.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in leading solution architecture teams, AdTech/MarTech engineering, or related technical leadership roles with direct ownership of complex integrations and workflow automation.
  • 2+ years of experience working with data models, hands-on SQL scripting using BI reporting tools, e.g., Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • 1+ year of exposure to AI tools that can facilitate legacy systems documentation from source code systems and enterprise wikis.
  • Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems and processes into modular, API-driven architectures while maintaining business continuity.
  • Strong hands-on skills with web technologies, APIs, data modeling, and scripting, plus familiarity with major digital advertising platforms and their APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise cross-functional change, influence without authority, and communicate complex designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed process knowledge of Quote to Cash within an AdTech / Digital Marketing Agency is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Define a target architecture that connects CRM/business systems, LOCALiQ's AdTech platform, data warehouse/BI, and external publisher APIs into a cohesive ecosystem.
  • Assess legacy tools and workflows; create pragmatic migration plans that reduce technical debt while minimizing disruption to ongoing campaign operations.
  • Standardize data models, identifiers, and event flows so customer, campaign, and performance data are consistent across all channels and systems.
  • Map current people/process/technology interactions across sales, account management, ad operations, analytics, and finance, then design improved future-state workflows.
  • Establish governance for how new products, campaign types, and workflows are introduced, documented, and trained across teams.
  • Coach teams through the change, translating architecture decisions into simple playbooks and checklists that fit day-to-day work.
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations between CRM/business systems and LOCALiQ's campaign platform, including campaign setup, pacing, and performance feedback loops.
  • Configure and, when needed, write code/scripts to orchestrate campaign creation, updates, and reporting across multiple publishers via APIs.
  • Build and maintain templates, configuration libraries, and automation rules that reduce manual work and errors in campaign onboarding and optimization.
  • Work with product and analytics teams to embed optimization logic (budget allocation, bid strategies, audience rules) into the architecture and workflows.
  • Ensure reliable collection and normalization of performance data across channels so stakeholders can track CPL, CPA, ROAS, and other key metrics in real time.
  • Design experimentation and feedback mechanisms so insights from testing feed back into configuration standards and optimization algorithms.
  • Serve as the technical counterpart to business leaders, translating commercial goals into architectural roadmaps and phased delivery plans.
  • Facilitate design reviews and decision forums, clearly explaining trade-offs between speed, cost, and flexibility.
  • Mentor engineers and operations specialists, increasing the organization's ability to own and evolve the architecture over time.
