About The Position
Do you have the desire to preserve the Credit Union’s assets by helping to control loan accounts, collect delinquent loan payments, and recover collateral? As a Solutions Specialist, you will be vital in protecting the Credit Union’s assets. You will maintain relationships with the members while upholding the Credit Union’s standards.
Requirements
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
- Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures.
- Job requires a two-year college level education of language, math, and reasoning skills.
- Three or more years experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is acceptable.
- Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers; makes recommendations to repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.
- Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail; takes appropriate action to bring current.
- Maintains accurate files and reports on all collections activity.
- Testifies at legal proceedings as required.
- Informs management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged off loans.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
