About The Position

The Solution Sales Executive (SSE) at SAP is responsible for driving solution-specific sales motions, partnering with account owners to address customer business challenges, and expanding the SAP footprint through renewals and new opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to leverage SAP's resources to deliver value, ensuring long-term customer success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in selling technology solutions to large enterprises.
  • Experience in selling Artificial Intelligence, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Process Automation solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to interact at the CXO level.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and territory/account development.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Teradata, Informatica, AWS, Google Cloud, and other data management technologies.
  • Ability to forecast/manage sales cycles and successfully close new business.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Low Code/No Code (LCNC) solutions.
  • Business value positioning of Platform as Service solutions like SAP BTP.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with end-to-end account owners to drive solution-specific sales motions.
  • Generate demand, manage pipeline, and close opportunities.
  • Develop opportunity plans containing compelling solution value propositions.
  • Conduct White Space analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage customer relationships at the solution area/buying center level.
  • Progress opportunities for move to cloud/expand footprint accounts or new accounts.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of business models and processes to address customer needs.
  • Stay informed about SAP's competition and value drivers.
  • Facilitate collaboration with the partner ecosystem.
