Reporting to the Manager of Advanced Services, Americas, this is a highly technical role, providing post-sales on-site support for Juniper's networking products. The Resident Engineer will be required to develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the customer's network.

Requirements

  • Must have TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance.
  • Detailed understanding of protocols used for IP service provider networks (e.g., BGP, ISIS, EVPN, MPLS).
  • Experience with Juniper products such as MX, ACX, Paragon Automation, Apstra, Paragon Active Assurance.
  • Technical knowledge and analysis, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on complex problems.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and methods to technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure.
  • Expert level relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre/post-sales Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support of Juniper products within the customer infrastructure.
  • Assist customer network architect with integration and development of the automated WAN solution leveraging the Paragon Automation suite.
  • Build application programming interface (API) calls from ServiceNow to Juniper.
  • Contribute to project meetings to report status, issues, and risks.
  • Participate in all phases of development with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
  • Assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements.
