About The Position

The Solution Marketing Lead will focus on the "Unify your data platform" solution play, aiming to capture corporate market share by positioning Azure as the optimal choice for customers' end-to-end data estates. This involves prioritizing product strategies into customer outcomes, aligning them for best results through various strategies, and possessing a vision for market share gain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, an understanding of sales and marketing levers, and the ability to analyze business challenges, formulate solutions, and motivate the broader organization. The position seeks to accelerate growth and establish strategies with customers through sales, partners, and marketing, working on rapidly growing business solutions and collaborating globally.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years' experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years' experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Product Marketing with Enterprise B2B Cloud technology solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years' experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years' experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing roles.
  • Product marketing experience supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions and a deep understanding of the industry and key trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the Unify Your Data Platform solution play go-to-market (GTM) strategies in the corporate segment.
  • Help our customers understand and choose Azure for their data and analytics solution needs and how unifying their data estate is critical to achieving their AI aspirations.
  • Work with teams to turn ideas into results and always focus on what customers need.
  • Develop and refine go-to-market strategies for the Solution Play in the Corporate segment, understanding customers digital-first needs, audience needs, perform market research, understand partner & seller journey needs, and determine investment mix/levers to optimize customer engagement.
  • Drive solution play priorities and execution of those priorities in the Corporate segment in partnership with the Microsoft sales organization and marketing teams.
  • Prepare integrated marketing briefs, identify and share insights in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and focus on how marketing can impact Highly Engaged sales pipeline.
  • Run weekly Rhythm of Business (ROB) across the corporate go-to-market levers collaborating with Microsoft sales and marketing teams to implement plans based on data and insights to accelerate what’s working to deliver the greatest solution play impact for the business.
