The Solution Engineer will assist with technical account management of our customers and support software integration projects with Allegion's strategic security technology partners across cloud, mobile and physical hardware platforms. Solution engineers ensure partner solutions are certified and validated to operate according to industry and product best practice design patterns. They are also responsible for supporting Allegion sales engineering and partner management teams in the development and maintaining sales demo infrastructure, including development of mobile applications and cloud-based user experiences that interact with and manage Allegion hardware solutions.

  • Become a technical subject matter expert in the Allegion Mobile Credentials space
  • Onboard and train customers and potential customers in how to use our APIs & SDKs
  • Triage and identify root cause of customer submitted issues
  • Work closely with product and engineering to define fixes and timelines
  • Be the voice of the customer to internal teams by relaying feedback and insight to product teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for technical queries
  • Assist in documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, best practices and user guides
  • Build a technical knowledge base for improving triage methods and speeds
  • Support production of content to assist sales, marketing, and customers including blog posts, training videos, and documentation
  • 1-2 years' experience with REST-based API development and usage preferred
  • BS Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience with customer relationship management
  • Hard worker who is self-motivated
  • Hungry and eager to learn new technologies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
