About The Position

The Solution Engineer will support the Sales and Marketing Teams in growing sales in assigned regions or other target markets by helping companies across varying industries understand and evaluate the technical capabilities of our products, leading evaluation cycles to gain product fit consensus.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' professional experience working in a pre-sales, sales engineering, correlated consulting role within enterprise software
  • Experience fully understanding technology platform capabilities
  • Experience representing technical concepts to an audience of varying technical understanding
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and roll up your sleeves demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Telecom construction and project management industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Understand and interpret prospective customer requirements, delivering customized product demonstrations and solution design for qualified sales opportunities and initial leads
  • Nurture and support existing customers as required to ensure accounts are referenceable and in good standing
  • Design, validate and document technical solutions to share with prospective customers
  • Provide regular feedback to Product Teams on industry trends and product gaps to influence roadmap
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and product management teams to meet our prospects' business challenges and align with our internal business objectives
  • Provide initial solution scoping and statement of work generation for presentation to Custom Success Team
  • Participate in RFI/RFP process and respond to technical assessments
  • Support lead generation activities including marketing campaigns, trade shows and other company efforts
  • Develop and maintain expertise in feature functionality and practical application of all our product offerings
  • Travel to cover the assigned territory, trade shows, prospect facing meetings and relevant partnership engagements as required
  • Update Hubspot (or other sales tracking systems and reports) to ensure accurate, complete, and up to date sales activity reporting is always available.
