About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Engineer with strong expertise in Order Management Systems and SAP. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in demonstrating the functionality and capabilities of OMS+ to potential and existing customers. As a Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, demonstrating, and delivering OMS+ & SAP-based solutions for Customer demonstrations. Your functional knowledge, along with business acumen, will be crucial in driving successful customer engagements and ensuring that our solutions align with customers' business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and marketing, to provide comprehensive leadership and expertise in the pre-sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Engineer or similar role.
  • Understanding of Order Management Systems.
  • Retail & Wholesale Industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Implementation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience in Sales & Distribution, and Retail solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and informative demonstrations of OMS+ and SAP solutions, showcasing features, functionality, and benefits tailored to customer requirements identified during a requirements gathering you led.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to customize demonstrations and presentations, ensuring they address specific customer challenges and objectives.
  • Create compelling customer presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of OMS+ and SAP solutions to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep functional understanding of OMS+ and SAP software, staying updated on the latest features, updates, and industry best practices.
  • During the pre-sales cycle, serve as a functional advisor to customers by providing innovative solutions to potential challenges by utilizing OMS+ and SAP.
  • Collaborate with the development team to relay customer feedback, contribute to product improvement, and ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business processes and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and decision-makers.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities, responding to technical queries, and providing technical support during the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation within customer engagements and internal practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging SAP technologies, trends, and industry developments to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the market.
